ICDLA’s funding is partially provided through grants from the U.S. Department of State, the City of Los Angeles and the County of Los Angeles. However, ICDLA relies on the financial support of the Los Angeles area community to provide the crucial remaining funds. It is only with the generous contributions of our Corporate Sponsors, Supporters, Ambassadors and Diplomat Cities that ICDLA is able to continue its important work, improving international relations and connecting Los Angeles businesses and organizations with emerging international leaders. 

 

Corporate Sponsorship with ICDLA also assists us in promoting the Los Angeles area as an international center for business, industry and the arts. Our programs showcase the successes of this dynamic region in tackling many tough challenges. Our programs help local businesses and organizations better understand the problems facing foreign business, government and civic leaders and how their issues impact us. Our programs take international visitors into our local schools to meet with teachers and to visit classrooms. The Citizen Diplomacy in the Classroom visits provide an opportunity for Los Angeles area school children to learn about different cultures and welcome positive role models from countries of their own heritage.
